A meticulous examination of the vehicle is carried out inside, outside, under the bonnet, under the car, even the tool kit in the boot is scrutinised to make sure it's complete and everything is in order.

RAC INSPECTED AND APPROVED

After each car has gone through the Ford used car reconditioning process, where any prior imperfections noted are corrected, it is then put forward for a final RAC inspection.

Only when the RAC inspector is completely satisfied will they issue the RAC approved certificate with the vehicle details - model, chassis number, registration number and mileage when it was inspected. Then, and only then, do we give it our own Ford Direct security windscreen hologram

2 YEARS FORD ASSISTANCE

All Ford Direct vehicles come with Ford Assistance which provides roadside assistance, assistance at home and vehicle recovery. Onward travel and car hire may also be provided where required. This service is for anyone driving your vehicle and includes most European destinations. Help is at hand 24 hours a day 365 days.

2 YEARS WARRANTY

Every Ford Direct car is backed by our 2 year comprehensive unlimited mileage warranty included in the price you pay for the vehicle.

You receive cover against failure due to manufacturing or material defects in most original specification components.

Not only do you have the reassurance of the manufacturer’s own warranty, but there are also no limits on the number of claims you can make.

HPI & NMR CHECKED

To protect you against the risks of 'clocking', every Ford Direct vehicle is checked on the National Mileage Register before it is offered for sale.

Furthermore, to give you total peace of mind, every vehicle is also given a comprehensive HPI check, which ensures there is no outstanding finance due on the vehicle, as well as other checks.

Feel safe in the knowledge that your vehicle:

• Has never been written off
• Is not subject to outstanding finance or credit
• Is not currently reported as stolen or missing with the police

30 DAY EXCHANGE

If you wish to change your Ford Direct vehicle for any reason, you may exchange it once within the first 30 days or 1,000 miles (whichever is the sooner) subject to a few sensible terms and conditions.

The vehicle must be:

• Returned to the selling dealer
• The same vehicle as sold (including tyres, options etc)
• In the same condition as sold
• Exchanged for another vehicle of a similar or higher price

Note: If you’ve bought the vehicle on finance, you’ll need to settle the balance with the finance company and sign a new finance agreement.

7 DAY INSURANCE COVER

You can drive your car away secure in the knowledge that it comes with comprehensive 7 days driveaway cover provided at no extra cost on all Ford Direct cars.

That means you can get on with concentrating on the important business of choosing the right car for you – without the hassle of arranging insurance cover.

 

TAMPER PROOF HOLOGRAM

We don’t give our cars a Ford Direct security hologram easily. They all have to pass a thorough series of checks so that they meet all the Ford Direct standards.

Every Ford Direct car undergoes a rigorous road test and examination by an RAC inspector before it can be issued with the RAC approved certificate. Our vehicles are also given comprehensive National Mileage Register and HPI checks, as well as full valet cleaning.

Only then we give the car our security hologram to give you total peace of mind
