The first tick box in quality customer service is good communication.Called Ford Shepshed to ask about the cost to replace the DPF on my Ford vehicle. Spoke to a man who said that he just answered
the phones and was not a mechanic and said that the service manager would call me back. Needless to say, he didn't.Called again a couple of days later re the same enquiry and spoke to a lady. She
said that fitting a DPF may be too big a job for them (seriously), but she would get her manager to call me back to discuss with me. Needless to say, he didn't.Clearly they were not interested in
helping a Ford owner with an issue so based on my experience with Ford Shepshed, there's nothing to recommend.Work is being done elsewhere by a reliable non Ford garage.

Recently brought a car from Shepshed Ford, dealt with sales manager Jim. Spoke with him over the phone prior to going to see the car, he informed me that the car would not be prepared to their
high standards in the time that i wanted to come up from South Wales to view the vehicle, but offered to deliver the car to me free of charge if i was to go ahead and purchase it. When we arrived
the following day Jim had gone out of his way to have the car all prepared and ready for sale. Although he had done this not once did i feel pressured into buying it. He was very laid back and
never once used the hard sale technique I've experienced previously. Due to Jim's calming personality i did buy the car and was able to trade my old car in there and then as he gave me an
excellent px price. I wasn't expecting to be driving back home with my new car on the same day, but thanks to Jim i did, he is a real credit to the company, thank very much Jim.

Disappointed with My Visit to Shepshed Ford Poor Experience with Used Car ViewingI recently visited Shepshed Ford, a used car dealership in Leicestershire, after reserving a vehicle which was a
2021 VW Golf and making a two-hour journey based on a phone call where I was told there were no issues with the car. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing and did not meet the
expectations I had for a professional dealership.On arrival, I didnt feel welcomed or engaged by the staff. The person I dealt with, Wayne, was dismissive throughout the visit. When I inspected
the vehicle, I noticed what appeared to be previously unmentioned damage a noticeable scuff from the rear passenger-side door to the wheel arch and what appeared to be slight panel misalignment.
While Im not a qualified bodywork expert, this gave the impression to me of prior repairs. This damage wasnt visible in the photos online, which felt misleading as a customer.During the test
drive, I also heard unusual noises from the drivers front wheel. When I pointed this out, I was told it was "a mechanical issue," but there was no offer to explain or investigate further. Several
of the tyres also had visible chunks missing, which I personally found concerning from a safety and vehicle maintenance standpoint, especially as I'd gone out on a test drive in this vehicle.When
I tried to discuss this and explain I needed time to think things over, the conversation was abruptly ended. I left feeling undervalued as a customer and uncomfortable with the level of
transparency.Based on my personal experience:Communication and transparency could be improvedVehicle condition appeared inconsistent with the online listingCustomer service felt rushed and
dismissiveSafety-related concerns were not addressed helpfullyWhile others may have had positive experiences here, I personally would not recommend Shepshed Ford based on my visit. I suggest

Purchased a Ford Fiesta from Shepshed and the customer service was fantastic Simon got back to me straight away from my enquiry about the car and Wayne took me through the whole purchasing
journey! I was never pushed into any addons and was left to look at the car at my own pace without any pressure. It was such a quick process and the car is in fantastic condition! I was advised
about warranty that I could add on but at no stage was I made to feel like I had to add it on! But I did as it was a very good price! I would definitely come back here and recommend to friends and

Went to look at a 21 plate white Audi A1 auto, when we got there battery was flat looked around the car all the front end had been repaired and repainted very badly and trims on front bumper still
damaged, obviously been in a accident but no mention of this when I enquired about the car, wasted 2 hours travelling, not good from a main dealer , avoid this Audi A1

I personally had a quite near on perfect experience purchasing my BMW 4 series from Shepshed Ford. Wayne who sold me my car was a pleasure to deal with and purchase from, he let me take the car
out for a test drive to see if I liked it. Then gave me a very reasonable part exchange offer for my old car which I was happy to accept. He made sure the issues on the car were fixed, put new
parts on it as well as a service and MOT so it was in great working order when I came to pick it up. The car was immaculate inside and out when I drove it away too which was also amazing. Would

Very happy with our car and the deal we got when we bought it but after a couple of months it developed a fault. I returned to the dealership who said there was nothing wrong. I now have a 2000
repair bill to rebuild the transfer box which has blown up.Seems they will bend over backwards when you're buying but not interested if you have an issue afterwards.In reply to Mr Dryden:You were
made aware and after visiting the service dept I was told there was no fault. The issue was reported inside of the 3 month warranty period but there was nothing I could do as you wouldn't
recognise the issue.

Good experience with shepshed so far. After doing my homework i drove over 100 miles to purchase a car from them and they did everything I asked and threw a tank of fuel in to get me home. Fair
part ex on my car also. Had a slight issue with the car after a few days but after speaking with them the issue was resolved the same day no hassle.car is now great. These guys are straight and
have great customer service, I'd certainly recommend them.

Took our new purchase, a Ford Transit Custom Crew Cab in for a service and after all the hype on FB about wet belts, we asked for an inspection of ours - we were advised to have our wet belt
replaced as there was signs of delamination, even though the van had only done 51,000 miles.Shepshed Ford had our van for 6 weeks - we couldn't go on holiday in it and we were too scared to drive
it in case it caused the engine to go - after 6 weeks of being in their yard, we decided to get a second opinion so moved it to TC Harrison in Burton who inspected the belt and advised there was
no delamination and so completely safe to drive - even provided us with pictures (this inspection cost us 20.00) and was the best 20.00 we've ever spent.Shepshed Ford when questioned about this
and the fact that if the belt had been in stock they would have replaced it and we would have spent 1200 unnecessarily, they just said it was a difference of opinion between mechanics which I find
unbelievable - I did say if they couldn't diagnose properly, they shouldn't be inspecting the belts and they did agree.TC Harrison (Burton on Trent) you were amazing and saved us 1200 we didn't
really have !Shepshed Ford - you need to sort this out as you are costing people money they don't have to spend ! Not good service and not a good response !!!

My daughter brought a Vauxhall zafira from Jim @ this garage last month. We collected the said a week after purchase. Everything was as jim said mot , bids & bobs we had picked up on. Even fitted
a timing belt & serviced the air conditioning. Excellent attention to detail and service. A warranty was also given as a gesture due to no part exchange. Nothing to much trouble. My daughter had a
problem with the running of the car a fortnight later & it came to an halt outside our house, contacted the garage early the next morning. The service department took a message. Jim rang back as
he said he would within the hour ! They collected the broken down car & brought a courtesy car to our house. Repaired it within 48 hours. Excellent service again . Well recommended no qarms or
anything.

Having been trying to source a Ford Ranger for nearly 5 months I was starting to become very despondent. Just by luck I came across Shepshed Ford, and who happened to have a nice looking Ranger in
stock. A visit to the showroom proved to be highly worthwhile, with the vehicle being perfect for my requirements. Closer inspection of the interior revealed a small tear on the side of the
drivers seat (a very common occurance), but it was extremely refreshing to see the sales staff offer to fix the issue without hesitation. Having visited many dealers in the search for a suitable
truck, it was great to finally experience some good, honest service.

My car went into this dealership for some warranty repairs both of which were declined firstly a knock on suspension as mechanic claimed he couldnt hear it (must be hard of hearing) secondly
refused to repair the keyless entry system as the door has had a paint repair. We were then charged for diagnostics???? but did not receive any paperwork or even a receipt. Avoid this dealership
